The Courtenay KIA Ladies Open Bonspiel finished on Sunday November 30, with the CVCC's Haider Team being the ONLY team to go undefeated and take home the the Hairpins Boutique Salon A Event Grand Championship!
Nowak Rises Like the Phoenix!
The Phoenix has arisen, again!! What a weekend. The Courtenay Kia Phoenix Men’s Invitational Bonspiel wrapped up it's second glorious year this Sunday November 2. Twenty nine teams from around BC came for their chance to rise skyward into the curling echelons.

Twenty-four Comox Valley Ladies League curlers played against twenty-fourScottish Ladies curlers.Nine teams vied for six spots and it was purely luck of the draw who was fortunate enough to be chosen.The Scottish Ladies scored more points than we did, but it looked like everyone had a wonderful time out on the ice.
