Ice Rentals

Looking for something fun and different to do with a group of friends, family or coworkers? Spend a couple hours at the Comox Valley Curling Centre learning to curl or sharing your passion for the game with new friends! We’ll provide all the equipment you need including grippers, brooms and sliders are included in the price. New to curling? We can also offer friendly, professional instruction and orientation with your rental to get you sliding and sweeping safely.

Note: Each sheet can accommodate up to eight (8) people. We can accept up to 48 people on our six sheets of ice. Smaller groups can rent individual sheets of ice simultaneously, although groups may receive instruction in larger groups if required. All bookings must be made at least three days in advance. Please call the office to see if we can accommodate rentals within this three day window.  The lounge is not always open for all rentals. If you are requiring bar service, please call the office to ensure that this is something we can arrange.

Ice rentals is $200 plus GST per 2 hours per sheet. ($25 a head). There must be an experienced curler on each sheet to keep everyone safe, as well as the equipment and ice. If there is no experienced curler on a sheet, we can provide a fun instructor/coach to provide a safety orientation, mini lesson, and help get your game going. Please be aware we do require a number of weeks notice to schedule a coach/curling ambassador for you.

2024 UPDATE:  We are the busiest per capita curling facility in British Columbia. Our available icetime for rental groups is limited. The most available icetimes are as follows:

Monday mornings (single sheet of ice available)

Monday afternoons at 1:30 (several sheets available)

Wednesday mornings (single sheet available)

Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 (2 sheets available)

Saturday mornings (all sheets available)

Saturday afternoons (intermittently available throughout the season)

Sunday afternoons (one or two sheets available)

Sunday evenings (one or two sheets available, or all sheets available at 7:45)

Large groups seeking a weekend night can get in touch for the very few date options available. Near the conclusion of our season in March there are a few additional possibilities.
