Rotary Room Meeting and Event Rentals
Rates
- While curling league or event concurrent: Discounted: $40 an hour, minimum rental $200. (The adjacent Extra End Lounge is shared between banquet room rental group and curlers)
- Off season (March 25 - September 15) and times with no curling concurrrent $50 an hour, minimum $400
- Bartender and lounge service included if gross sales minimum $500, $25 an hour surcharge if less. No surcharge applies if curling is happening concurrently (as our bar is already open)
- Cleaning fee of $100 will apply if room not left as found
- Optional Tablecloth rental $10 each
- No outside alcohol, no exceptions. $500 damage deposit forfeited if ANY outside alcohol brought into the room
- Flexible configuration: banquet, theatre, trade show, etc. Choice of round banquet tables or long rectangular tables. Both seat 8 people each.
- For convenience, great food, and on site cooking, please consider using our in house kitchen caterer Custom Gourmet for food options, or you may self cater . Please note, there is currently no option for renters or outside caterers to cook on site. We can provide fridge space, microwave, and counter space for prep only.
- We do not do table service for events in the banquet room. Glasswear and carafes are available from the bar but the rental group must set their own tables for their dinner service or arrange with the caterer.
The Comox Valley Curling Club features a large multi purpose banquet, party, & meeting room adjacent to the upstairs Extra End Lounge. Combined upstairs banquet room and lounge capacity is 195, tables and chairs can be set up to your specifications.
The banquet room features the second largest dance floor in the Comox Valley! Ideal for weddings, parties, celebrations of life, concerts, speed dating, large or small meetings, trade shows, almost any event you can think of.
The Extra End Lounge is our licensed self serve bar that is open to members of the Comox Valley and their guests, and it is available to your rental at no charge during the curling season.
It is a full service bar with a comprehensive and low priced selection of draft and bottled beer, wine, cider, coolers, hard liquor & spirits, soft drinks, and bar snacks (chips and nuts). We have eight impressively curated taps of great BC Craft Beer daily rotating .
