Pros and Joes Wrap Up

It took almost a week to recover from our season ending Gladstone Brewing Co. Pros and Joes Funspiel March 20 to 22. THIRTY-TWO spirited teams embraced the Metal Monsters, sang and danced their faces off with Lucky Village Enterprises Karaoke, and played four boisterous curling games against teams of the same record and bracket path. Funds were also raised for YANA (You Are Not Alone) Comox Valley!

All teams played 4 games, with an envelope of cash on the ice for the winner of each. With this balanced schedule, two teams emerged undefeated! Congrats go to the Jeff Goldbrooms team (Miciah Kind, Paddy Zyla, Jeff Groat, Jeff Berg) and MEGADRAW (Corrine Rogers, Terry Logan, Jeremy Frazier, Colleen Dane). Everyone wins at the Pros and Joes! 

There were numerous fantastic and creative costumes, but easily the loudest cheers went to the OTGs in a landslide. Congrats Roma Pastershank, Dean Sawatsky, & Sarah & Blake Johnson! With the Pastafarians a close second! We could have handed out half a dozen best costume prizes!
