Comox Valley U18 Teams wrap up National Competition

Congratulations to Team Richards seen left posing with their hardware shortly after their Bronze Medal victory at the National U18 Championships in Oakville Ontario! 

The girls performed well all week, finishing the Round Robin at 4-2 then losing a heartbreaker in the Championship semi-finals to Alberta on the final end Friday night.

They returned to the ice Saturday morning with another solid performance to bring home the Bronze. Congratulations to the whole team; Carlie Hardie, Grace McCusker, Keelie Duncan, Gracelyn Richards & coach Adam Duncan! and of course all the proud parents and supporters!

Congratulations also goes out to Team Parkinson representing Comox Valley on the Boys draw. After a hard-fought Round-robin that put them at 3-3, the boys found themselves in the B1 consolations where they finished 1-2 with both losses coming by a single point. Well done; Graham Lee, Christian Klein-Beekman, Jackson Nowak, Chris Parkinson, Connor Litton & coach Bob Lee! All of us here in Comox are proud of your acheivements!
