Night of Champions Wrap-Up

What a season!

We expanded our league playoffs and finals to two nights this year! All leagues couldn’t be settled, nor could all of the merriment be contained, in just one evening!

Our Playoffs and Finals Night # 1 was on Tuesday March 18, and the Night of Champions Finale and awards ceremonies took place Wednesday March 19, without further ado, here are our champions!

CVCC Ladies Champions: Sue Fulkerth (with Marna Woollard, Linda Hawks, Jan Adams, & Dee Horie ) who beat the venerable Sandra Gallaway Hruby team in the final.

CVCC Men's Champions: Dan Brennan (with Mike Morrissey, Darren Richards, and Tim Corkery) who had a successful final over Ron Schmidt’s Thursday team.

CVCC Stick Champions: Sue Fulkerth and Dee Horie, who edged out Harvey Kroll and John Powers.

We also had some Open & Mixed League battles on the ice. Waypoint Monday Open winners Three Beers & A Water put up a good battle but came up short against perpetual Mixed league champions Deb Morrissey. Sunday Fun's The McFerrin Way took oun Church St Taphouse Saturday Social league winners the Classics.

Four of our top doubles players also had a thrilling exhibition game, thanks to Murray Anderson, Gary Lantz, Roy Peters, & Jesse Tiede for showing us how to safely sweep your own rocks!

In the Rotary Banquet Room awards to league winners were also handed out.
