Mount Arrowsmith Wins Battle of the Breweries

Mount Arrowsmith Brewing Company wins the Battle of the Breweries! The world's only beer keg curling bonspiel happens at the CVCC, and getting their name on the Kegoblet this year was Parksville's Mount Arrowsmith Brewing Company, who took down Ace Brewing Company in the final! Congratulations to Mount Arrowsmith's Bryn Thomas, Brayden Wildeman, Brett Wildeman, & Jayden Haftner.

Thanks to all the breweries that came out, donated their time, their beer, their schwag, and their beer keg throwing talents! Ace, Beachfire, Cumberland Brewing Company, Hoyne Brewing Company, Land And Sea Brewing Company, and RAD Brewing Company you all rule! As does 2024 champions Gladstone Brewing, who could not be here this year, but graciously allowed CVCC staff to use their kegs in a losing effort.

Thanks as well to the dozens of people who gave a $5 donation for a chance to throw kegs with the top 15 closest shots to the button winning a prize! Keith Parry, Tim Woznow, and Emma Beaudin covered the pin! Ridiculous fun! All funds raised are going to Tsolum River Restoration Society!
